The Damage of Substacks AI Checker

How to Silence Writing in the Digital Age

AI as a research and refinement tool is absolutely logical. The same way you we use the internet to find source data or a library where we physically go through periodicals.

Grammarly, AI? Well it helps us ensure our content is grammatically correct.

Asking AI to check your writing for continuity, completeness and correctness.... Absolutely logical use and saves the time and cost of hiring and editorial assistant.

All writers use teams to ensure the flow of the story is insync. As well as concise, clear and complete.

So using AI as a team member for those processes is legitimate!

It is estimated that 60+% of all books written are not written by the author solely.

They use Ghost writers.

The author is the subject matter expert, and most can’t write a textbook or a story.

The Ghost Writer interviews you and listens to everything you want to have convied.

They take your ideas, stories, or spoken thoughts and write the book on your behalf, usually leaving your name as the sole author or co-author.

So, umm, like if we can’t use AI for this also then we better censor all the writers in the world.

Ex. a research doctor would be useless if we never let them review works published in The Lancet or The New England Journal of medicine when looking to incrementally make medical changes or a new scientific discovery.

Also remember that everything that is written today has been written before or at the same time as we are writing an article there are others writing the same article.

”Yes, Asking AI to write an article for you based few parameters is not acceptable.”

Substacks AI Identifier - It will be a hellscape now that it is implemented and destroy some writers as the AI will not be able to DISCERN the Valid uses for AI. For those with accessibility issues (aka Handicaps), well you just censored them!

Good luck all. Let’s use discernment.
